Satellite Internet (SI) provide affordable, high speed broadband to hard to reach and rural areas across the UK. It’s a brilliant and often essential service championed by Managing Director Micke Locke DipM. MCIM, a seriously talented and really amiable person.
Satellite Internet were introduced to Ufruity by a working partner Influential Software who Ufruity collaborate with occasionally on User Interface (UI) design jobs. The brief was to rebrand SI’s corporate sales website, logo, services documentation and marketing related materials in conjunction with the launch of Satellite Internet’s new 20Mbps service offering.
The solution was to supply a strong identity, a new image capable of working across multiple platforms from web to print. The logo included the new company name ‘Satellite Internet’ punctuated by a cute satellite icon graphic and strap-lines ‘Broadband wherever you want’ from ‘The Satellite Internet People’. And the Website UI cross-system integration allows site users to access both local content and technical data fed from the satellite operator for customer account management in a single unified GUI front end to the UK transactional website. Phew.
Ufruity continue to work with Satellite Internet on various projects, the latest being designing the new logos for SI’s new SuperFast Satellite for Communities (SS4C), a Pilot Project rolling out broadband and connecting Devon & Somerset, Exmoor Park National Authority and Mendip District Councilrural areas in collaboration with Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK).
